I like to make the grandkids their teacher appreciation cards for the end of the school year. Since I have been short on time this month, I decided to go ahead and take advantage of a previous Sheetload of Cards to get several finished and ready.
While I initially was going to use the May Sheetload, I ended up turning to an old favourite - the February 2020 Sheetload of Cards for these ones. I will link it below for you - I get a lot of use out of that one!
I created these cards the same way I did when I was on the Sheetload Collaboration Team ... I use the sketch and cutting guide and get all the papers adhered to the card bases. Then I decide on the embellishments and finish off the card fronts. For these ones I pulled out a few school/teacher themed stamps from my stash and just went through the folder where I keep school themed papers to see what else I could use. Some have stamped images, others have stickers, and one is a faux shaker card!
I created this school bus MANY years ago, back when I first got my Cricut. I sold it a long time ago, so this could be at least 10 years old. Ha. But it's used up now!
There were a couple of journal cards that I thought would make cute 'Back To School' cards so there are two of those as well.
This one has lots of room for me to write a message to our granddaughter.
This second one will go to our youngest grand ...
Having been asked how many cards I make I thought it would be fun to keep track this year. Many of my posts include more than a single card or project and below is my tally.
