Scrap'N Stamp April Embossing Magic Inspiration Hop

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to another Inspiration Hop by Scrap 'n Stamp Canada!

Today's inspiration is all about these lovely embossing powders from Hampton Arts and I have a walkthrough of my card on YouTube.  Please be sure to leave a comment on my video, to be entered into a chance to win a prize!

I admit that I usually lean towards gold, silver and clear embossing powders so it was lots of fun to play with these lovely pastel shades. I was so impressed at how opaque they are as well, and appreciate that each colour comes with a sparkle option as well.

Using daubers and embossing ink, I used the different flat colours on a die cut Kraft panel, finishing off with the white sparkle anywhere the Kraft showed through. Backing the windows with a pale pink card stock, I then added some Pinkfresh Studio butterflies and pretty bling. The butterflies were embossed with some of the sparkle embossing powders and coloured with Catherine Pooler inks and a water brush. Then ... Stickles for even more sparkle.

Both the Best Wishes and the A Very Happy Birthday To You sentiments come from last month's Inspiration Hop stamp set - Birthday Banners by Hampton Arts. Most of the products I used are available at Scrap 'n Stamp and linked below.
