I used the Square Flip-It Framelet, and these adorable patterned paper and printed embellishments.

I think it turned out pretty cute, considering it was a fairly quick and easy and to put together.

Easter Bunny and Chick Pop-Up Card

Good morning friends

I purchased this adorable stamp & die set last Spring, and it was a pleasure to get it out again for this year's cards. 

The images were stamped on heavyweight white card stock, coloured with Copic markers and die cut  with the coordinating dies. I like that the die cuts the inside of the basket out as well.

Inside, I made a Pop-Up using the Lorna Label in a Horizontal layout.

The chick is a stamp from the Stamps of Life and I just added the grass around his feet with a marker.

Pink Cupcake Birthday Card

Good morning friends

This cute (and simple!) cupcake die is included in the 5 x 7 Circle Flip-Its die set, so I pulled it out to make a birthday card for my Mom's Christmas stocking. It went so perfectly with the cupcake patterned paper!

Inside is a stamped greeting that was die cut into a scalloped panel.

While I'm only showing one, I did make two of these cards and one went into the gift set for my dental hygienist.

Easter Stand-Up Card Duo

Good morning friends

Today I have a couple of Easter Cards to share that I made last year but didn't get posted.

While I love interactive card dies, I'm not entirely sure about this one. Easel or Stand-Up cards may just not be 'my thing'. I do like the glittered patterned paper though - it seems perfect for Easter cards! The eggs are stickers and the die cut grass is the little grass clump that comes with Karen Burniston's Garden Bench Pop-Up.

The words inside were done on the computer, and the bunny stamp is a group of 3 that I cut apart after stamping them.

Floral Easter Egg Card

Good morning friends

Today's share in an Easter card that I actually made last Spring but didn't get posted.

I had finally purchased a set of egg shaped wafer thin dies, and was having fun playing with them. This floral die cut (and the border strip) were new dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs and I think they worked well together with the egg shape. For this card, I added the floral paper and die cut behind the egg shaped opening. That gave me the polka dotted egg shape to use on a separate card.

Hoping to get all my 2017 Easter cards posted before Easter this year, but if not I'll be sharing them even past Easter so I don't have to keep the photo files for whole year. I get tired of seeing them when I'm doing my current blog posts!

Four Peeps Cards

Good morning Friends

Today I'd like to share some Easter cards I made last year but didn't get posted. I had just purchased the Simon Says March 2016 Card kit, and these stamps were in it. I think at the time I was making them for my Mom to send out, but can't remember now.

The words on the front were computer generated, and I used my very first Blueprints die purchase - set #1 - for the layout and pieces.

C4C-375 - 'Hello Hello' Pop-Up Card

Good morning friends

It's Saturday so that means a new challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog. Our March 2017 Hostess is Frances Byrne, and our Guest Designer is Birgit Norton. You can see Birgit's Blog HERE.  

Here is Frances' challenge: "According to the Days of the Year web site, Thursday 2nd March was World Book Day. For our challenge this week take your inspiration for making your card from a book ... adults or children’s book whatever you prefer."

So what is my book inspiration? Why the Stampin' Up Catalogue of course. Page 64. Ha! 

Ok - this owl. OMGoodness, I'm loving this little set by Taylored Expressions. It comes with an owl, pig, cow and dog dies. The dies cut the basic critter shapes with a little cut out heart. I backed the heart area with red card stock then filled the inside with a clear glaze pen. The set comes with some cute word stamps and face stamps for the critters. Fun!

Inside I made a Pop-Up scene, which was inspired by the catalogue. To make the Pop-Up bumps, I used the die from the Hot Air Balloon twice along the fold. That gave me enough support for the double layer of mountains!

The Stampin' Up Fox Builder Punch/stamp set was a Christmas gift from my parents so I used it here to make the racoon. Another fun set!

Easter Flip-It Card Duo

Good morning friends

It's Flip-It Friday here on my blog and I have two Easter Flip-It cards to share today.

These are larger cards - a full 5 x 7". I love making cards this size - they just feel so much more 'substantial'.

The larger size allows you to use larger embellishments, which is always fun.  This patterned paper is one I ordered on-line and it's pretty busy. I'm glad I only ordered the one sheet of it.

The stamp I used for the inside is on one long line, but I actually cut the stamp apart so I can use it on smaller areas as well. It's easy enough to piece back together on the block if I would like to.

Sympathy Card Duo

Good morning friends

Today's share is a pair of Sympathy Cards I made to put in my Mom's Christmas Stocking.  I like to make sure she has a good stock of cards, so put quite a few in her stocking. They use one of my favourite layouts - which ensures no leftover paper bits to use up. When MFT came out with a Blueprints die set that uses this layout? It was a no brainer to purchase it, and I've used it a lot.

One card has a double stitched scalloped border between the paper patterns while the second card has just a stitched edge where the patterns join. That stitching comes with the Blueprints Die.

The inside of both cards is identical.

Vintage Coffee Pot Card

Good morning friends

After I made THIS card for Karen Burniston's August 2016 Designer Challenge, I had some of the vintage print patterned paper leftover. The coffee pot was just calling to be fussy cut, and then I had enough leftover to die cut a stitched panel for layering.

Inside I added a fussy cut butter knife and a stitched panel. I was happy to have used up that whole sheet with nothing left to store or put in the 'Odds & Sods' pile.

The inside is blank, so I can add the words when the card is ready to be mailed.
