Thanks Slimline Tag and Peacock Slimline Tag

Hello! Today I'm sharing two projects made with the new release at Crafty Meraki. Each Monday this month Crafty Meraki has added new items and today's tags use two of the new items being released ... the Thanks Slimline Tag and the stamp set is called Dance In The Rain.

For my first tag (oh, how I love that sweet scalloped edge) I inlaid the Thanks into the blue scalloped tag. It was cut from gold foil card stock. 

The images from Dance in the Rain were gold heat embossed on blue mirror card stock but all that shine is impossible to photograph. I added gold sequins and some shimmery ribbon & gold cording to finish it off.

My second project today uses the same Thanks Slimline Tag, this time I added a background pattern with blending brushes and a Heffy Doodle Stencil that is also available in the Crafty Meraki Shop. Then I spritzed it with shimmer spray so the whole tag is sparkly.

Once again it's hard to see in the photos, but the peacock was heat embossed with gold powder and coloured using Twinkling H2O's (a very shimmery paint). I've had them for many years and thought they might look good with the peacock, which is from Dance in the Rain. The sentiment from the set makes me smile ... it was also gold heat embossed. "People will stare. Make it Worth Their While".  Love that!

Sweet Friend Shaker Card

Hello!  Today's card uses stamps, dies and beautiful papers from Divinity Designs. I am in love with the Paper/Die Duo's in the April 2021 Blessings Box ... and I have links below to the products. I also have a YouTube video showing my Blessings Box Unboxing, if you are interested in seeing all the wonderful products that are included in it! Find that video HERE.  

Nesting two Oval Stitched Row dies together created the frame for my shaker card, and it's embellished with the lovely roses from the Blessings Box ... the Paper/Die Duo Set 3. They make card making so easy - no scissors or colouring tools required - just die cut and use!!

The lovely Leaf Outline Die was also included in the Blessings box and the stamps are from the Sweet Friend set from the box.

Inside I added another panel of the pretty paper, and a white rectangle with a stamped sentiment from the Sweet Friend set. Both were cut with the Double Stitched Rectangle dies. Finally, a single flower bud was added in the lower corner with thin foam tape.

Poppy Slimline Card

Hello!  I'm on the Divinity Designs Blog today with this Poppy Slimline Card. All of the stamps & dies used are from Divinity Designs and the lovely poppy elements? They are from the April 2021 Blessings Box. I am absolutely LOVING these Paper/Die Duo's that are in the Blessings Box. If you are unfamiliar with these Paper/Die Duo's or want more information on the Blessings Box - check out my Unboxing Video.

The poppies are in the Beautiful Blossoms Paper/Die Duo #1 (there are THREE different sets included in the Blessings Box!!) and for my first card using them I wanted to make a Slimline Card. The new Slimline Circle Windows die was the perfect backdrop to showcase the flowers. There was room in those windows to stamp several sentiments from the Sweet Friend stamp set that was included in the Blessings Box.

I decorated the inside as well, and the layering dies use the new Slimline Pierced Rectangles. There is lots of room to write a message and send this card out for Happy Mail!

Unicorn Dreams Mini Slimline Card

Hello! It's time for another Fun Friday Challenge at Your Next Stamp, and the theme for #165 is a  "Summer Sunset Inspiration" and here is the photo inspiration:

I chose the colours as my inspiration and created a Mini Slimline card using YNS new release items. The colours were added onto the  Mini Slim Star Panel Die  and then I splattered it with water for a mottled look. The sweet image is from Unicorn Dreams, stamped onto white pearlized card stock then painted with dye inks and a water brush.

The DREAM was stamped onto a Stitched Fishtail Banner, which was also die cut from white pearlized card stock.

Inside, I added a stitched white panel to write a message on, and added a few of the fallaway stars from the front. I saved the remaining fallaway stars to add to shakers!

Mini Slimline Teapot Shaker Card

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a Mini Slimline card using several of the New Release items at Your Next Stamp.  I adore the shape of the teapot in the new Tea Time Shaker Die Set and that is what I used to create the little shaker for my card front. The layers were cut with the new Mini Slim Stitched Panel dies and I added a partial doily to the front as well.

The SMILE comes from the Photo Booth Panel Die and was die cut from coordinating patterned paper in the (older) paper package.  The pretty flowers are in the Tea Time Shaker Tag Images and the coordinating tag images. Finally, I added some Gumdrops from the Perfect Blend Gumdrops.

Here is a peek at the inside, with more layered panels and a single floral spray. The leaves lots of room to write a message!

Two Clear and one Shaped Paper Pumpkin Alternate Card.

Hello!  Today I'm sharing another three cards made with the April Paper Pumpkin Kit - and I still have supplies left for even more cards that I will share another day. I have a YouTube Video with all the details:  

First up is the Rainbow Shaped Card, which fits in a #8 Envelope ... the ones I use for Mini Slimline Cards. I added stitched die cut clouds from Karen Burniston's Outdoor Scene, enamel dots and a clear resin heart, then white heat embossed a sentiment.

The next two cards started with a clear card base and these cards were inspired by Alicia at Call Me Crafty Al. She does a lot with clear cards, and when she made some Paper Pumpkin Alternate cards with them I knew I wanted to try it too. Of course, mine are different than hers are. 

I added a bank of clouds across the bottom with one of the dies from the Slimline Scenic Borders by Trinity Stamps. Additional stitched puffy clouds by Karen B and a stamped sentiment from Gina K's Be the Rainbow stamp set.

Below is the inside of the first clear card. I had just re-inked my Catherine Pooler Sauna ink pad and the sentiment from Divinity Designs wasn't very crisp. So I went over each of the letters with a fine point black pen.  The Crosshatch Circle die and the sun are also by Karen Burniston - and linked below.

The second clear Paper Pumpkin Alternate was done very similar to the first one, just different papers and another stamp from the Gina K set.

I just love this sentiment - always have. It's perfect for these cards!

Hedgehog Slimline Card

Hello! Today's Slimline card features the new 'Just Quillin' stamp set by Crafty Meraki. I tried something different when colouring these ones. A friend said she uses hand sanitizer for blending her coloured pencils. Hmmmmm ... I'd never heard of that before but wanted to give it a try. It does work, but I didn't find that the colour moved around as well as with Gamsol so I'll be sticking with the Gamsol from now on. 

These little hedgehogs are so cute and the Design Team has been knocking it OUT of the park with their amazing cards. 

Of course, I decorated the inside of mine as well and there is still lots of room to write a note.

Hedgehog Tag Card

Hello! It's a new week and there is a new release at Crafty Meraki! Each week this month the Design Team is sharing lots of inspiration with the new products released each Monday. My Tag Card features the new "Just Quillin" stamp set. I used the "Congrats Slim Tag", which was released earlier this month along with the "Love" from the "Love Slim Tag" which is an older die in the Crafty Meraki Shop. All of the words from all of the Slim Tags work with all of the different tag shapes for lots of mixing and matching possibilities.

I cut the Congrats Slim Tag twice, once from black for the front and once from white for the back. I scored the white tag horizontally about 1" down from the top and adhered the two tags together by adding adhesive ABOVE the score line. Oh, and I did the stamping on the white tag before adhering them together.

Spotlight on Lifetime of Happiness

Hello! Your Next Stamp is doing a feature where the Design Team is spotlighting a specific stamp set and today is 'Lifetime of Happiness'. I created a Slimline Anniversary Card using the A2 sized Puffy Cloud Panel die set.

By cutting the Puffy Cloud Panel twice from white card stock, that gave me plenty of room to create the background for the Slimline card. I started by smooshing blue ink onto my card base and spritzing it with shimmer spray. Then I added one of the Puffy Cloud Panel die cuts onto the centre trimming off the overhang on each side. Cutting the second Puffy Cloud Panel in half I added them above and below the centred one and trimmed off the overhang. 

The Hot Air Balloon Hamsters were stamped, die cut and coloured, then added to the card with a Mini Action Wobble so it bobs and wobbles on the card front. I added a couple of Gumdrops as well, because - well, I love the YNS Gumdrops!

Inside I used the Slim Stitched Slimline dies and What Not Sentiments Set 14, and also stamped one of the other images from Lifetime of Happiness on the left panel.

Four Zebra Birthday Cards

Hello!  I was looking for a different patterned paper when I spied this 6 x 6 pad purchased last year from a Dollar Store. I decided to pull it out and make some quick Birthday cards to donate to my Mom's old nursing home.
