Six Southwest Themed Birthday Cards

Hello crafty friends ...

Today I'm sharing six Birthday Cards I made to donate to my Mom's old nursing home, using the February 2020 Sheetload of Card sketch & cutting guide by Alicia at Call Me Crafty Al. I enjoyed making these SO much, I ended up making two more sets that will be shared another day.

I did a walkthrough of the cards in a YouTube video for you HERE

While I used the sketch as more of a guide - that's the fun of sketches! You can make them your own. This is also a common layout and one I've done many times over the years. But the February 2020 Sheetload gave me measurements to efficiently cut down two full 12 x 12" sheets of patterned paper from my stash and of course I love working assembly line style!

The tags and borders were cut aparts in the paper pad so I was able to use up some of those too ... I couldn't decide on the taupe or the green seam binding so ended up using both. I tied knots instead of bows and attached them with glue dots.

The cards were all done the same inside, using my Mini MISTI for easy stamping with no 'oopses'.
