'Thinking of You' Iron Fence Pop Up Card

Hello!  I'm back today with another card featuring dies in Karen Burniston's NEW RELEASE.  (The dies will be shipping on August 9th.)  I have a video walkthrough on YouTube (click HERE) and everything that is available is linked below:

My card is larger than A2, and I used the Flower Pattern Plates inked in a rainbow of colours for the background. Then I added the new HELLO die onto a Crosshatch Rectangle and a mushroom from the Backyard Charms.

Inside is a colourful stencilled sunrise and you see the new Iron Fence Pop Up. Cutting the Long Nature Edges from green polka dot patterned paper adds to the whimsical feel.  I used more of the Backyard Charms to decorate the grass around the bottom of the fence, and the snail is added to the right post so it moves with the fence as the card opens and closes!

The words from Word Set 10 were die cut from aqua card stock, the flowers got some glitter in their centres and I added a few sparkling items as well.

There is a fairy perched on the fence with glittery wings, carrying on the whimsical theme of my card.

  1. I really like your card but was hoping to see the construction of the Iron Fence - especially how it moves to create the curve. Is there an assembly video?

  2. Hi - glad you liked the card! The assembly video will be available now as the release went live this morning. Since Karen Burniston does such a great job of the assembly tutorials I choose instead to show you lots of ways you can use the dies. I'll see if I can add a link here for you: https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=1105369&u=913692&m=75894&urllink=&afftrack= You can just look for 'Iron Fence Pop Up' from the link and you will see the assembly video right on the product page. 😊
