World Mental Health Day Instagram Hop

The Design Team was given the chance to participate by creating a card/project - but that is all the information I got! So - I will direct you to the YNS BLOG and hopefully by the time this posts they will have the information posted there. It is an Instagram Hop, but I won't post on IG for a few hours to see if more information becomes available to the Design Team. I know there is a chance to win a prize from the sponsors.

Onto my card, this was a chance to do something I have wanted to do since I bought the Sweet Hummingbird Stamp set from Your Next Stamp ... gold emboss the flowers around the perimeter of a card! Making a Slimline card gave me lots of room to do this and then I coloured the flowers with Tombow markers and blending pen. It still needed something, so I added some stamping in both first and second generation stamping with the smaller confetti image from Falling Confetti.

It's hard to see in the photos, but I after stamping the 'You Are Amazing' in the dark pink dye ink, I stamped it again with Versamark and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Using a MISTI makes doing things like this SO easy! The Positive Affirmations stamp set has lovely sentiments in it and I get a fair bit of use out of that set.

Of course I added some more stamping to the inside! I forgot how much I love orange and pink together.
