Hello crafty friends ...
Aside from the things I'm grateful for on a daily basis, I feel very lucky to have such a great hobby and blessed to have met so many wonderful people through it. Today's card is for one of those people who I would never have known if not for crafting. She has an upcoming birthday and I get to see her in person this year and will hand deliver her card.
Since I like making Trifold cards these days, that is what I chose to do again for this one. I used the YNS Stitched Square dies to cut the window in the front panel and nested two together to cut the frame. Of course I also added some sparkly YNS Gumdrops - I just love those little beauties.
When you open the first panel, the cute cat & mouse in a sparkly polaroid frame is revealed. The Polaroid Frame with Piercing Marks is part of the February release at YNS and I have to tell you I'm getting a ton of use out of it! The cute cat and mouse is from the new Photo Booth All Smiles set. I coloured the image with Copic markers, used the coordinating dies ti cut it out and mounted it behind an the frame with acetate in front for an added detail.
You see the birthday words when the card is fully opened. Remember you can always click on a photo to open it up in a separate window, for larger and clearer images than the blog photos.
The stamped sentiment is from the YNS Whatnot Sentiments Set 12.
