Good morning friends
Since the Grandkids are older now and attending lots of birthday parties, I gave our daughters each a big set of kids birthday cards as part of their Mother's Day gift. Here are four more of the cards I included, perfect for little boys!
I bought these monster stamps a couple of years ago - having three grandsons I am always looking for fun images to use for BOYS. So many companies come out with cute girlie stuff but no boy images. These MFT monsters are too much fun - I really like using them.
Here is the second monster card ... I think it would be fun to add wiggly eyes to these as well, but I didn't have them on hand when I was making the cards. I had this paper stack I was working with for a lot of the cards, and I was hoping to use it up. I made a pretty good dent in the package when I discovered a second pad in my pile. Apparently I loved it so much that I purchased two of them. So ... it won't be used up anytime soon!
The robot stamps I've had for MANY years - I stamped a several of them last summer and took them camping to colour in.
And here is the 4th card ...
Both the robot cards have the same interior. I like this stamp for boys - short, simple, to the point but still a fun mix of fonts.
Supplies:
Monster stamps and dies - MFT Stamps
White, green, blue and black card stocks
Red soft finish card stock - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Patterned paper - DCWV
1006 Nature Edges - Karen Burniston
Sakura White gel pen - Karen Burniston
Stitched circle dies - MFT Stamps
Black fine point marker
Nuvo Crystal drops
Dashing rectangle dies - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Robot stamps - unknown
Zig Clean colour markers
Fun foam
Happy Birthday stamp - MFT Stamps
