Good morning friends
This is one of those cards that looks better in real life, where you can see the glitter catch the light. There are words cut from the glitter paper as well, that don't show up well in the photo but do when you hold the card. EEEK - love the new bear die! Here he is cut from white and is sporting a sparkly winter hat.
When you open the card, the panels from the front and back pivot to the inside and reveal a little frame where you can hang a charm. I used the new Winter Charms for my embellishments, snipping off the charm hanger when needed.
I added another Polar Bear, this time holding a small glittered tree. The words Happy Winter come from the newest Word Set and since the words are separate it's easy to combine them to create the sentiment you want.
I had purchased these metal charms awhile back and I'm thrilled with how well they work with the Charm Accordion. This one is tied on with 2 ply Bakers Twine. I simply pulled 2 strands from a piece of regular Bakers Twine, which leaves me with another 2 ply piece to use on another card.
It's Saturday so that means a new challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog. Rebecca Ednie is our hostess this month and our Guest Designer for September is Teresa Kline. You can see Teresa's blog HERE.
This is Rebecca's challenge: Let's make an interactive card. There are so many cool dies out there for slider, shaker, pop
up, spinner, lift-a-flap and so many more. If you don't have dies, many of these cards can also
be built by hand the way we did it before all the dies! These cards bring so much joy to the
recipient! And they are tons of fun to make!
I chose to make a Charm Accordion with several dies by Karen Burniston. These little accordion cards are addicting to make!
