Good morning friends
It's Saturday so that means a new challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog. Our January 2017 Hostess is Caz Counsell, and our guest designer is Lynn Anderson (Craft & Waffle).
Caz' challenge is a fun one - Today is organize your Home Day - Create a card suitable for NEW HOME or something within the home.
Hmmmmm ... of course I immediately thought of Karen Burniston's House Pivot die but realized that many people think of their clothes when they want to get organized. So instead of using the House Pivot, I made a card using a tee shirt on the front.
When I took out the package of patterned paper, there was a stitched strip, a semi circle and another piece that looks like it was cut with the Pull Card Edges, but not needed. I teamed up all three scraps on the left of my card. The tee shirt was stamped and fussy cut, then mounted to the front with an Action Wobble. I adore the heart from the Spiral Circle Pull Card, so adhered it to the front of the flowered tee.
Here is a look at all the action going on inside the card!
It was made with the Anita Frames Pop-Up by Karen Burniston, and I decided to work ahead and make a Mother's Day card.
The crown is a Decorator Die that comes with the Anita Frames Pop-Up, and after cutting it from gold glitter paper I further embellished it with orange Glitter Dots. If you look closely at the decorative labels, you'll see I've stamped with with a clothes hanger in a light colour.
Check out the C4C blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge. We'd love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C368.
