Easter Mini cards for the Grandkids

Good morning friends

I have LOTS of photos to share today. I wanted to make the Grandkids cards for Easter and had just been to the Mesa Rubber Stamp Show where I discovered how much I like Pink & Main images. I could have blown the whole budget in that booth alone! I did come home with this adorable Easter chick stamp set (among others), so that is what I used for three of the cards.

I stamped the images onto a die cut egg, then water coloured them with various water colour markers and inks. Olivia's card is up first ...

Olivia's has a bit of sparkle too, and all the eggs were adhered to the card fronts with an Action Wobble.

Because these are mini cards, the one sentiment was too long. I cut the stamp in two so it would fit better. It's easy enough to line it up if I want it to stamp as a single line down the road.

Ethan's card has this cute hatching chick on the front and is also on an Action Wobble.

Ethan really does crack me up. We recently got to spend a week with Ethan, Zachary and their Dad in Arizona  (while Heather took Olivia to a special Pulmonary Hypertension camp in LA). One morning we were getting ready to go for a walk and I came out with denim capri's and a bright green tee shirt. Ethan looked at me, took a step back, and said "Gramma! You look nice".  I mean really? At five? I gave him the biggest hug.

Zachary's card is so perfect for him, with the little peep peep. He talks with the cutest little accent - we have no idea what he says most of the time.

I also wanted to make cards for our other two grands, but they celebrate Passover and not Easter so my selection for them was more limited. I usually go with a 'Spring' theme for them.

I took the opportunity to use an OLDER Doodlebug paper and sticker package for Ilai's card ... embellished with puffy stickers and adhered with an Action Wobble. I know how much fun Ilai has with those.

He is a sweetie that one and his smile will melt your heart.

Alma's card is simpler as at one year old she still tries to eat everything.

Thanks for hanging in with all the cards today! They were simple enough to create and I know the Grands are going to love them. I can put each card in one of the envelopes from Stampin' Up that are made for the 3 x 3" mini cards so they still get to open an envelope with their name on it.

Supplies for all five cards:

3x3" envelopes - Stampin' Up
Patterned paper - Stampin' Up
